We are seeking an experienced DevOps Systems and Database Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both systems administration, software development, and database administration, as well as experience with continuous integration and deployment practices.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks and databases.
- Design and implement automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Monitor and optimize system, database and network performance and availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to systems, databases and networks.
- Implement and maintain security best practices for infrastructure.
- Continuously learn and improve skills in relevant technologies and practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand and implement infrastructure and database requirements.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience in systems administration, software development and database administration
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment practices
- Strong problem solving and debugging skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Strong desire to continuously learn and improve
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
